The capacity to produce parts from 10 to 6,000 kg, added to its annual production, make the company one of the largest in the whole of South America.
The company’s foundry segment seeks excellence in products and services and has the most advanced technological resources to produce high quality carbon steel, low alloys and manganese castings, serving the domestic and external markets in the sectors of machinery and equipment for construction, mining, cement, automotive and rail.

In Cruzeiro-SP, three electric arc furnaces are operated, one with a capacity of 17 tons and two with capacity of 12 tons. The castings can be supplied under the following conditions: raw, pre-machined, finished and sub-assembled.

Railway components

AmstedMaxion supplies draft sill, E and F type coupler, fixed and rotary yokes, connection rods, followers, collars, wheel mirrors, as well as railway wheels with micro-alloyed steel technology.

Industrial components

In addition to producing and supplying parts for the railway sector, the AmstedMaxion foundry, has been operating for over four decades in the casting segment, providing components for the sectors of mining, construction machines and equipment and sugar and alcohol.

The company uses modern technology to produce parts from 10 kg to six tons, in carbon and low-alloy steel.
