A solenidade teve participa\u00e7\u00e3o do governador Blairo Maggi (PR), dezenas de prefeitos e lideran\u00e7as pol\u00edticas de Mato Grosso. A ministra-chefe da Casa Civil, Dilma Rousseff, pr\u00e9-candidata \u00e0 Presid\u00eancia da Rep\u00fablica pelo PT, cuja presen\u00e7a estava confirmada para o evento, cancelou a participa\u00e7\u00e3o no fim de semana. Segundo o Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT), a Ferrovia de Integra\u00e7\u00e3o Centro-Oeste ir\u00e1 ligar Urua\u00e7u (GO) a Vilhena (RO), num tra\u00e7ado de 1.602 quil\u00f4metros, que exigir\u00e1 investimentos da ordem de R$ 6,4 bilh\u00f5es at\u00e9 2014, quando deve estar conclu\u00edda. Os produtores de Mato Grosso apostam na ferrovia para resolver os problemas de log\u00edstica.
